Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Bellevue, NE for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, onsite position supports elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities, offering a meaningful opportunity to help students grow and thrive in their communication skills.
Position Details
Location: Bellevue, NE
Start Date: August 4, 2025
End Date: May 21, 2026
Schedule: MondayFriday | Full school year (36-week contract)
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: Elementary-aged students with mild to moderate disabilities
Compensation
Pay Range: $45,000 $65,000 total for the 36-week contract
The range reflects differences based on caseload size, years of experience, and specialized skills. Candidates will be offered pay commensurate with their qualifications and the specific assignment.
Responsibilities

Provide speech-language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Implement IEP goals and track student progress

Support students in articulation, language development, and social communication

Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and other school staff

Maintain accurate documentation for all students served
Requirements

Active Nebraska SLPA certification or eligibility by start date

Associate degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field

Experience working with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills; flexibility to work in an elementary setting
